  Rules (Summary)
 

Rules for participation in regional and national contests and the "F1 in der Schule World Championship

    
* The team must consist of minimum 3, maximum 6 participants.
    
* The team needs a 3D CAD system, preferably using Solid Edge to create the designs. The final draft must be handed in reporting on competition in Solid Edge format on CD-ROM. The team is made Solid Edge for free, see REGISTER. The team needs a CNC milling machine to manufacture the car using the CAD geometry created with use. Recommended for 3-axis milling machine Denford micro-router or a similarly powerful 2,5 - or 3-axis milling machine.
    
* The car must be from a predefined, single balsa blanks are milled from solid.
      
The dimensions of the racing car body and the wheels must meet the requirements. Please observe these guidelines meticulously.
    
* The car body must be provided with a high quality paint. Manual labor is to be limited.
      
Total at the championships must be submitted three identical cars. One for the race, the second as a replacement vehicle, the third will be retained by Formula 1 in the school for an exhibition.
    
* Each team must have a presentation folder (A3 format -. Max 20 pages) to submit, in which the ideas, their development into the design and the tests are documented.
    
* The presentation folder, the orthogonal views and a 3D - Presentation of the car mentioned that were created with the 3D CAD system. The solution also needs the 3D model on disk (CD or DVD) mentioned.
    
* Each team must complete a specification sheet that is submitted to the competition with the vehicles.
    
* Each team must have a short presentation to present their own work to prepare and hold (8 min).
