F1 in der Schule is a multidisciplinary, international technology competition to develop in which students aged 11 to 19 years a miniature Formula 1 race cars finished on the computer, and send then into the race.

The goal is to make use of emerging from the "big" F1 fascination and global presence to provide the youth with an exciting, exciting learning experience, thus improving the understanding and insight into the areas of product development, technology and science and identify careers in technology.

In regional competitions and a German championship, the cars driven by gas cartridges connect on a 20 m long track against each other. The winning team will represent Germany at the F1 in Schools World Championship, held annually in advance of a Formula 1 Grand Prix.

The decisive factor is the team performance of design, production, reaction time, vehicle speed, business plan and presentation.
